Louis Armstrong is the greatest Jazz musician in America and the

world. Not only did he play many instruments, he also sang, danced in

musicals and performed in movies.

Miles Davis searched for his own musical style. His music was unique

and poetic. Also, in his later years, he experimented with ways to combine

rock and pop music with Jazz.

Billie Holiday made a name for herself as a great jazz musician. Her

style was unique because of the way she used her voice as an instrument

and the feelings behind her voice.
